Gabriel, Bryce, and Charlie are honored to be candidates for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) 2025 Long Island Student Visionaries of the Year campaign as leaders of Team Knocking Out Cancer!

Our Personal Connections 

Each of us have been personally affected by blood cancer, which is why we are so passionate about this campaign. 

• Gabriel's mom was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma when he was one and her fight and survival have inspired his annual fundraising efforts and desire to honor her, and other survivors, fighters and those who have lost their lives 
• Bryce’s late grandmother fought multiple myeloma, and his experience with LLS over the past three years has driven him to raise money to help those without access to care. 
• Charles, moved by the challenges cancer patients face, is dedicating himself to raising funds through the Student Visionaries of the Year campaign to support patient needs.

Why We Need Your Support

Team Knocking Out Cancer is particularly passionate about patient support and will be representing this area of LLS during our campaign. Gabriel’s mom was lucky she had the support of family, friends, and doctors. No one should have to face cancer alone, and LLS is the leading source of free information, education, and support for blood cancer patients, survivors, caregivers, families, and healthcare professionals. LLS also funds research for lifesaving treatments and advocates for policies that protect patient access to these treatments.

The contribution of donors to Team Knocking out Cancer’s campaign will provide direct support to the critical work of LLS with the hope that one day no one will have to grow up without the ones they love.
